So if you can get $1,000 a month in rent for it, the 2% rule says you should shoot for paying no more than $50,000 for the home.Likewise, the 1% rule would mean that for $1,000 in rent, you should shoot for paying no more for the house + rehab than $100,000.Your house could be worth anything.

I was faced with the same option, I choose to stick to about a dozen investors, a few with very, very deep pockets and use no more than 3 on any project, usually any one could swing 90% of what went on alone,  much easier life getting started that way. :)

Detroit was packed and there was no more room for the car plants in the city.The property needed for these plants is amazing and with the city being packed to the gills they auto companies had to move to the burbs.The Detroit City Council are still a complete mess.
