I've have an opportunity for a 4 bed 2 bath Manufactured Home in Ingalls,  Indiana.Would very much welcome some opinions.

I'm looking to remotely invest in a manufactured home in Macon, GA and I'm curious if I can get a conventional loan? 

I have found a Chinese manufacturer that will ship me a container full of counters, toilets, tubs, etc. and the discount is pretty significant, but between the low price and some language barrier, this gives me some concern about quality, correct measurements, etc. 

However I was wondering if anyone has tried house hacking a manufactured house?

When you learn how to do Searches on Zillow, you need to look at all the selections from Land to Manufactured Homes to Townhomes and Apartments and Houses etc.

So I am thinking if I can put on a used mobile/manufactured home on the lot for rental because it should be much cheaper.

I am also exploring investment opportunities (SFH, small MFH) in both Chattanooga and Huntsville.Healthcare and logistics/manufacturing are some anchor industries.

There are three investor groups in the Storage business right now:REITS or large regionals-  I'm from the corporate world as a CPA (largest CPA firm in the world), Controller and CFO ($1bl sales in manufacturing); I can think like them and have lived their world. 

If you are interested in their service (Point Central is similar) you can see what locks integrate with their software and see if any of those companies manufacture something that will work.
