My suggestion would be to stick to historically strong neighborhoods - this can be expensive if you want to be near center city, but if you have the budget highly consider - Fitler square, grad hospital, fairmount, olde city.

Hi, If you have invested in Yuba City, could you provide me with your experience?

I am actually from Elgin, but I live in the city around the Logan Square area. 

Is being a section 8 landlord there doable, or is the housing authority and the city a hinderance to deal with?

Which cities/areas do you suggest?

I am also purchasing a duplex in Westland, MI which is a city near Detroit and close to the airport. 

Any recommendations on key cities / towns within Ohio / Indiana that I should continue to research to further narrow my focus?
