I'm from Wyoming and grew up around guns so this isn't a political, anti-gun post, it's just my observation. 

Even though San Diego has not successfully passed any significant anti-growth initiative the real estate is very constrained (limited supply):- To the North Camp Pendleton constrains.- To the South Mexico constrains.- To the West the ocean constrains (poor us :=).- To the East the harsh climate constrains (good luck living in Anza Borrego through a summer)The supply will always be constrained. 

These laws are so glaringly pro tenant  and anti-landlord.

I'm not anti-off-market or pro MLS, just offering some perspective.

Because of complaints about the relatively few rental properties in the neighborhood, the developer sent homeowners an anti-rental amendment to the neighborhood covenants.

Y can be a variety of things , like donating money to an anti charity or scrubbing the floors .

Normal discrimination if typically viewed as anti minority groups, etc.

We have had 10 years of outstanding appreciation, we have a political climate that is anti LL, we have saturation in some of the RE derivatives (STR, furnished 30+ day rentals, etc.).Good luck

@Hampton Logan In my experience many people on BiggerPockets are anti-guru programs.
