Michael Guzik , real estate gurus or gurus in general aren’t anything new but it’s just become easier to be a guru or lifestyle entrepreneur seems to be the modern term .Create some catchy videos and content and market on Facebook , YouTube etc .Before you had to spend a lot of money on infomercials etc .I don’t think it should be viewed as totally black and white though .For example Robert Kiyosaki is a big guru , but his book turned on tons of success investors to the idea of real estate investing.

So my thinking on why I can make it cash-flow positive is two-fold:  1) Start using a service that passes the cleaning fee on to the renter (like Airbnb), and most importantly, 2) update the cottage with modern finishes and décor where the new, professional pics will attract a much higher occupancy rate.
