That's an interesting perspective; local to me I haven't really seen that, but I have seen a lot of buyer's agents insist that they host the appraisal, which we happily accommodate and I prefer.

Older hosts tend to prefer VRBO just as older guests tend to prefer VRBO.

In your listing description, be honest and focus on the most wonderful features about your place, which may be location/proximity to skiiing, or great views for evenings on the deck, or a bargain stay with a great host.
