Admittedly it may have some influence on it if the sale price is much higher than the current assessment.Furthermore, If the property sells for $20k & needs a lot of rehab why is it still assessed @ $98k & they will NOT reassess it at the lower price, even for a couple of years, until the rehab is completed.
