They might have given you the money but it was your idea to invest it instead of buying a toy that will quickly depreciate.

Unless it is obvious that this tenant caused it (eg previous occupant had no kids and this one does and you find a toy caused the blockage), I would pay for the first one.

The tenants took over the front yard with their dog, bunnies, and kid toys, as well as have blocked the front yard gate with boulders.
