There are several of them that post often on BP (that aren't trying to sell you anything) and people would be smart to read their advice vs. paying a coach/guru.

@Greg Strunak have you tried the anti-barking devices they sell online?

I'm thinking with patience and being smart about things, there is still a chance for making a new in investment work.

That is why I believe you are smart to reach out to your Community - I think your network is your most valuable asset, especially when looking for quality sponsors. 

Since you mentioned that you're earning under $200k and living in a less expensive area, plus you have access to a VA loan, buying a primary residence could be a smart move.
