@John Lagrimas My boyfriend (marine corps) and I used used a VA loan about two years ago to buy a duplex.  

I'm thinking teaching, archeology, marine biology, etc. 

I'm not familiar with the market there, but I was stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 4 different times during my 15 1/2 years in the Marines.  

I am 55 now, but at the time I was 25, fresh out of the US Marines.

Good Morning fellow investors, I am currently a United States Marine who will be making a transition back into the civilian population.

I financed a commercial property for a young marine who got into power washing/cleaning the hoods & fire protection systems over the cooking stations in restaurants etc.He had developed a niche market with very little competition & carried the necessary certification to post for the respective health dept., inspectors.The work had to be done whenever the establishments kitchen were closed so it was usually a lot of early mornings/late nights.

Im currently in the marine corps and I want to make wholesaling a part time job and eventually full time when I get out of the military, I hope to hear from some wholesalers around the country and even in my local area!

I am an active duty (13+ years) Marine, a landlord, and a tenant so this is from my experience.

I just Honorably discharged from the Marine Corps.
