In Thunder Bay where I am there is a company called Rent Panda.

I associate almost every ad I see on TV and all the stuff that guys try and sell you, like Mark Cuban does...Snake Oil.

The premium neighborhoods obviously demand higher rental rates - however, the cost to replace a roof or snake a sink in an A neighborhood is not going to be different than the cost in a non-premium neighborhood.

If so, this may be isolated and not as bad as you think.  3' into the washer drain is the back-up - Why can't it be snaked or change the small section of pipe if accessible or abandon the existing pipe and re-rout to another drain.Usually the water main shut off is near the water meter. trace the supply line attached to the meter.Call another plumber especially one that can find the main shutoff.  

At home depot you can buy the 3 or 4 foot snakes you can use for drains or toilets.

Once the plumbers arrived and before they started to try and snake out the clog they asked to open the access panel for the plumbing.

Yep, all simply snake oil salesmen.

He didn't get the big stage, he had a smaller conference room off to the side, and had very attractive girls with little clothes on trying to bring people in to see his schpeel...I don't know what snake oil he was selling, but boy..how cool would it be to just yell SLEEP!

There's snakes in every aspect of this business but implying there working with turn key companies is somehow more risky is really doing a disservice.

I use IFTTT to set up automatic things like that.One idea for the "magic sprinkle" that I came up with today....and I'm hoping no local investors steal my thunder... but I'm going to set up a bunch of letters that express my appreciation for the property or the sellers' situations, and include the appropriate letter with each offer that I submit.It is all one lot.
