Some of the old forum posts seem positive for those neighborhoods, but I'm wondering if the sentiment is still the same?

We negotiated the contract terms ourselves and beat out 3 other offers by appealing to the sellers sentimental side as she was from the same city in Ohio as my husband!

I completely agree with the sentiment..

:most of us would never consider ourselfs as "ex" engineers, just engineers focusing on RE to some degree or another.I do think as left brain, numbers people, we tend to have more longevity in RE than emotional, less logical thinkers who tend to suffer more severely from the boom and bust cycles.I share Steve's sentiment.  

If this is an exceptional piece of land and property someone might overpay cash for it just due to market sentiment and limited product on the market.If most buyers are financing then the sellers will probably not  be able to sell.2.

I have to agree with all the sentiments about Columbus.
