I use a professional property management firm with it's own construction arm, so I don't need to deal with outside contractors. 

I'm proposing to be added to the deed (I would have to be in order to manage, my firm does not do prop management), be responsible for getting the property to 100% occupancy, maybe doing some rehab, and split some % of profit.

Any broker firm you recommend  in Connecticut would be great !

I work for a mortgage firm as an insurance analyst reviewing the coverage of each property/location.

The lending firm I'm using promises me a better rate of 8.5% on the next, but it still robs us of a chunk of cash until the project is over.

Sympathize with the situation, but be firm.
