An attempt to notify the former tenant, storage of their items (with cost to the former tenant if applicable), is standard law wherever I've lived.

Or keeps a unit for himself + one for storage + one for family so $0 rent income.

I've read countless posts in this forum where new investors view REI as a high interest savings account that is going to yield a fat check every month.  

I let them know i was serious, that they needed to move their stuff to storage and stay at a friends.

We bought a mini storage facility and the owner financed the first 5 years.

While looking for investments, we have found a small mini-storage (self-storage) facility for sale, but it is over 2 hours away.

- want more storage (basement)- want to cut a lawn (yes!)
