@Mark Welp Hey Mark - One thing to point out here is that the transfer of the note itself, which is done using an Allonge document or endorsement on the face of the note itself, is not recorded. 

If, however, the bank made the check out to the buyer and the buyer endorsed the item... different process.Been through both scenarios.

There are HO policies that carry endorsements to rent rooms or garages/attics as well.
