Mainly cosmetics thought out the main area of the house, but the foundation has shifted. 3 walls are caved due to the soil and drainage.

Just ask any folks in Vegas... the house always wins but we're delighted by the surprises once in a while. 

But I think my friend is an anomaly.. he's super into it and is willing to sleep in the garage/man-cave while he travels for work rest of time. 

If one wants to pay for real estate education, $52K will go a long ways towards an industry certification or a college/university business degree specializing in real estate.Aside from tornados (which are very rare here on the east coast), ten acres by the Tx - Ok border sounds like a delightful -and, I'm guessing warm - place to be.There is lots to read and learn here and lots of folks with varied experiences in real estate.
