I have only lived in this area for 10 years, and spend most of my time across the border in Juarez where I manage a production factory, so I am sure there are folks with much better knowleadge than I, but so far from my research, the Northeast, lower valley, and central/downtown portion of the city seem to have the most multi-family opportunities.

I'm looking for 2-4 unit multifamiles in the Houston area (no greater than 20 miles from central Houston) and getting anywhere near the 2% rule looks like a fairytale.

The kitchen is the central part of the home and is key to flow and how a family would use the home.I have never had any comment from a potential buyer wishing the kitchen were on the front of the house.
