In fact, I have a couple buyers right now looking in this area for a house hack potentially just like this set up.  

I remember sitting with one couple that had a 100k RV in the driveway and were losing their house I said whats up with that.. 

I will soon graduate college with a degree in finance and accounting, I hold a PMP certification along with a few others and plan to work on my real estate license and maybe in the next couple years obtain a residential contactor license.

That means a couple things.1.  

I think this would make sense in the long run for the rental property as it will extend the life of everything it touches like the Sink, faucets, showers, water heater, dishwasher, and Clothes washer while also providing clean drinking water in addition to the reverse osmosis drinking water system I already have installed.The main problem with this hardness level is that we get a major deposit buildup on all of these items, which will eventually clog up the faucets for tenants and lead to rusty shower enclosures that take forever to clean.In addition to this, it looks like we could likely have the salt added every couple of months by the property managers in addition to that it would allow for a quick inspection from them, and then also we would instead bill the cost of the service onto the ledger for the tenants.For reference, it does not look like the landlords in the area have water softeners.Thank you everyone for your input ahead of time.

After a couple of years, you can earn your Broker's license and start your own company.

Hello @Nevin WilkieThis post is aged a couple of weeks but I hate it when misinformation is given so thought I would clarify a few things based on some of the replies I saw. #1. 

My wife talked to a plumber we had used on a couple of jobs in the past that was reasonable.

The reason I think that is when it is coupled with his comments to call him if you are a cash buyer and that you never need an agent.

I don't personally know one, but I have friends who has a couple doors there who I could put you in touch with.
