If a 2 bed in your area is going for 3200 charge that, you don't want the 1 bedroom person paying the same as the 2 bedroom just because they lost a storage place and it sounds to me like that is what you are proposing.

Desperate times do indeed make interesting bed fellows. 

While 4 beds makes it a bit more rentable, it won't change the turnover costs at all.

It would convert the existing structure from a 2 bed 1 bath, to a 4 bed 2.5 bath, adding an additional 2000 square feet of space.  

I'm interested in looking for a 2 bed and bath house in the suburbs that's not too far from my workplace.

There is some sagging in the floors which will need to be re-levelled by installing new beams etc.For a newly renovated 1 bed 1 bath living room space I'm thinking 1500 isn't unrealistic for the Fells point area? 

Flat Bed is super strong, aggregates and trucking that supports new construction is extremely strong right now and is booming.

@John Mason, just to be clear, are you talking about an addition with a bedroom and bathroom or cutting up existing rooms to add a bed and bath?

I live in Boston and have been going to PTown for 15 years and recently bought a 2 bed/2 bath condo in early January this year and did renovations to it.
