If I don't have time to pick up, clean up, turn on all lights, scrub the toilets and vacuum (all the stuff the agent wants done) that it just won't get done before they show.That means the house may not show as well as it might if I were out of here prior to the 1st of the month.

Even in my own house, I prefer the LVT due to the fact that carpet collects dirt that no matter how often you vacuum or clean it, stills collects allergens and dirt that will not come out, not to mention the stains etc.

I agree with the others: I ask that tenants vacuum but see carpet cleaning as my responsibility.

@Caroline Hedin I have never personally tried to rent a place I delegate that joyful task.but there is a reason the airlines over book.I did spend my first 12 years selling real estate which in essence is the same..

You can also use a wet/dry vacuum (make sure it's setup for wet which usually means switching an interior filter).
