Its getting to the point where the rates almost have to be so astronomical that people simply can't afford them. 

Unfortunately, very few local Worcester residents can afford these properties, creating intense pressure on those who live and work in the city.

This will make it harder to afford, harder to get lending, and ultimately limit the buyer pool which puts negative pressure on prices.  

I previously used free services like Cozy (before merging with Apartments.com) and Rentler ( before merging with another company and charging fees for ACH payments) but now I use them as an all-in-one PM solution for the most part.

Gets deeper from there, but that's the high-level.My goals included being work-optional well before the traditional retirement ages tied to retirement accounts, so therefore the places I put my money needed to afford more flexibility. 

The lone exception is rent control type regulations and/or affordable housing requirements.
