So if a tenant neglects or abuses a smoke detector, a landlord has limited responsibility if something goes wrong.That said, it is a good idea for a landlord to inspect a rental at least annually.

They are designed for commercial use and therefore can take a bit of abuse.

The wrong man who regrettably believes he knows how to patch drywall.I look at things like this and am thankful that the only substance abuse problem I've ever had was cigarettes and my wife forced me to finally quit for good eight years ago.
