Already I have seen the advantage to that as although the lot had a previous house on it the county(los angeles) is STILL requiring me to do a soils test/geotechnical report!

There is a leak in the front of the house next to a hose spicket and I want to believe that the leak is under the soil near the spicket and hopefully not under the slab.

I know the rates will likely be high for flood insurance from Hurricane Sandy but this particular spot does not flood frequently.Any feed back on addtional thoughts to consider when analyzing deal is greatl apprecatied.

I know some places sewer scopes aren't that common, but here in CO we have very expansive soil so I would definitely recommend someone buy that insurance.
