There aren't any large manufacturing facilities or job magnets moving there, their local city council leaves a lot to be desired, and the state-wide minimum wage is also going to put people out of work, so I fail to see the desire just because properties are cheap.

We will start by letting somebody else find a solution (should have asked the State) so lets ask the people and more specifically the great neighborhood associationsthat exist because they know what we do not know.We can have multiple meetings that we can attend and spend our great citizens tax dollars discussing it for 1 1/2 years.It has been 1 1/2 years and now they have a draft hoping to have it pass City council and it did.The draft indicated 2 types of homes STR1 and STR2 (Short Term Rental).

I don't want to come across as negative, but just know that STRs within Raleigh City Limits is difficult as the outgoing City Council passed some incredibly restrictive covenants in the summer of last year specifically in regards to STRs.
