I am from Michigan, but I am working in the Boston area and am familiar with the Greater Boston market because of the real estate meetups I have attended.

As for your question about where I plan on living is either Denver or Boston (both expensive).

This ignorance came from comps In Boston vs Brockton, especially price wise. 

Hey guys, I currently live in Massachusetts, and trying to buy my first rental property out of state, because the market where I am (Boston) is too expensive.

Has that been people's experiences in the Boston area too?
