STRs were the flavor of the month over the last few years, so naturally they attract new players.

So I am of this same flavor- no rental homes...

I used to be in the local REIA, but I don't enjoy them bringing in the gurus who push their flavors of Koolaid on us, I'd rather meet with people like yourself, learn what you do, you like and help you with your Real Estate needs, as you can I am sure help me.

Its a great market once you learn the subtle nuances of the area. 

Be careful when at the auction to be subtle when letting other investors know you have the rights as some counties will kick you out of the auction if they think you are intimidating people from bidding on the property. 

These have "Pittsburgh addresses" but each local region/municipality has its own flavor.

Although I handle at least one of these requests a month, I'm finding more requests with subtle caveats or special language they would like included.

You should mystery shop some of you local competition to get a flavor of what you up against.
