I buy at Kelly Moore ( about a mile from Home Depot)...... the service people actually know what they are talking about.....The $50-100 more you pay for the quality paint will save you tons later....... better coverage and WAY easier to touch up rather than repaint entire walls or roomsAnd I agree that if you have multiple units, try to keep the colors the same....OR take meticulous notes on what you do in each property.

To you veterans out there, I'd appreciate any advice.To everyone else, the lesson I learned is that you should meticulously compare any fee list to your Loan Estimate (ideally before signing it) and, of course, your Loan Estimate to your Closing Disclosure on all your loans!

As far as protection that the LLC would give you, I would suggest that a well crafted landlord policy followed by an umbrella policy will cover you much better than the LLC would.
