I am leaning toward gutting the whole building and letting the electrical contractor on work on the 2nd floor unit.

And leave it at that.My 4 unit is a former general store and as with many small, old towns, the rear was the mortuary/embalming location before the bodies were then taken back to homes for the wake/funeral.

So I was hoping to get the suggestion from some body who is involved in real estate ( a flipper , an agent , a lender) as this might be a famous concern among their clients .

Having done a few rehabs now while working a full time day job I can tell you that I’m leaning more and more towards having someone else do all of the work.
