My dream would be to start with a Quadplex in Los Angeles or anywhere in socal.

But if you don’t really need the income and you can afford it, go for the dream home!

I know it's the dream of most note buyers to work out a DIL quickly and I think the chances would go up slightly if you can address their concerns face to face rather than their past dealings with the "big bank" especially if you're offering them cash to help them relocate.

This is something I personally would recommend to someone with very little income, especially to use as a stepping stone for their entrepreneurial dreams.

Not sure this is how the American dream is supposed to play out.

My husband and I are looking forward to helping some of those dreams come true.

My one suggestion is that before you buy your first dream house, stay where you are and buy a couple of rental properties first.

I would at least then no longer be getting punished for pursuing my dream.
