What is your opinion on this dilemma: if none of the rentals are in LLC or may be some are in LLC, but all are covered by an umbrella liability policy including my personal assets (the car I drive and the house I live in), does the fact that business and personal assets are mixed under the same umbrella liability policy, does it pierce corporate veil or puts my personal assets at risk, if a tenant sues on one of the rentals?

The plan is to house hack by renting by the bed to airport employees who just need it a few nights a month so there are a couple requirements for the property,1) Close to the A Line or other shuttle service to the airport so tenants won't need a car (I was thinking Green Valley Ranch)2) At least 4-5 bedrooms.

It's not risky because the guy who loaned me the money caries the first mortgage and if I don't pay he'll own the asset which is worth more than I paid for it, do the math on his reruns, they are awesome.
