I also realize that our business is one of reputation so being diplomatic and asking nicely and respectfully goes a long way when I am trying to do things for my clients that might be considered an inconvenience to sellers or other agents.Communication is also a huge part of a good agent’s tool belt.

Was this your first deal/STR or did you already have a few under the belt?

I recently started my journey as a real estate agent and I have a closed deal under my belt along with two accepted contracts soon to be closed as well.

Sounds like you have a good amount of experience under your belt.

There's always the BRRRR method as well, but most of the properties we purchased didn't really fall under that category.I wouldn't go out of state until I had some experience under my belt.

U can go into almost any mid west rust belt city today and buy any number of houses for under 100k  day one  no problem thousands of them but these are not where owner occ's will buy.. neighborhoods are too sketchy to downright dangerous  schools bad to terrible  retail closed down becomes of decades of thefts  etc etc.  

I am hoping to just get a decent deal under my belt.

Last year he did it as well as using his snow blower to clean up the snow.
