Have the builder draw the wiring on paper and photographs, have an independent licensed electrical contractor write that the design and completion is correct, have planning department write that they signed off on the wiring before was sealed up etc... you need documents to demonstrate against the appraiser's opinion Bureau of Construction Codes, Electrical Division, at 517-241-9320 get their email and send what you have and ask for their written opinionMichigan Construction Codes runs parallel with the International Code Council (ICC) try them tooThe State Code supersedes county; but you need the exact wiring specs in writing.
