Price out your Italian Marble showers and counter tops and your custom thermadore/wolf appliance package and this price point is going to seem a little more reasonable. 

If I was able to package my house into the commercial loan, I would free up my FHA status enabling me to purchase a duplex-4plex for me to live in and rent out the other portion.Any thoughts or ideas, or references would be appreciated.Thanks in advance

If you do not have a homeowners package, you can get a commercial policy.

BiggerPockets is a great place for info and I do recommend you upgrade to their PRO package.  

He is a vet who says he received a sizable severance package from the military and is on disability.

@Wes Singleton Hey Wes, Have you considered trying to put together a package deal?

I put together a full marketing package for the space, and sent it out several times to specific prospects based on the demographics of other stores in similar areas with similar demographic makeup.

Also, I would create a Offering Package describing what you want to do and potential returns.  

Conversely you might have someone in California who sold property and now wants to buy a package of houses from you because where you are they see cheap pricing per sq ft and rents that are favorable etc.So as a broker/agent you want to run a very profitable business and get a high return on your time.I will give you another example.

Do not buy into any packages these so-called "experts" are selling.
