On the MLS (whether via an agent or via Realtor/Zillow/Redfin), so that's where you need to be.In short, I'd try to get more $$$ out of the furnishing by adding them into the deal instead of looking at them like things that I need to spend money to get rid of.

How much did you spend on the land?

and if you can't invest the time and effort to do that... how can you spend thousands or tens of thousands of dollars on a property you haven't seen yourself?

I'd probably get multiple feasibility studies before engaging a bank and/or spending any money on the actual project.

Im sure going after the city would really only be effective in a civil class action law suit where there is enough people and $$$ on board.Over a 6-12k fix, and battling the city alone you'll spend more money and time IMO.

About what it took me to do in 15 years and 83 homes here in the 15 or 16 years since the housing crash.I definitely need to tune back in here to biggerpockets where I used to spend a bunch of time and where I was able to pick up some amazing nuggest of information that steered my model. 

My family home was next door so I did all this work while working full time and maintaining a household and family.

I would spend the time educating yourself on what a good PM looks like, then searching diligently until one is located.You can't ask all the questions I list.
