Yeah, just like how your brain surgeon is a Doctor, yeah, same thing, Doctor, Brain Surgeon, no real difference right.     

Also, not just any doctor will do.

She has a I have a letter from her doctor dated 2017 that she said:"Please consider allowing XXXX to keep her dog as an Emotional Support/Companion pet."

There are lots of bogus ESA permits online for $60, feel free to ask for a note from their doctor. 

Thats like going to the doctors, telling them you know whats wrong with yourself and then telling them to write you a prescription for s very specific medication that you selected yourself.

If the letter is signed by a medical doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist, counselor, therapist or social worker, you must accept it at face value unless you have some legitimate reason to believe it is bogus. 

Unless you work in a very time-consuming field (doctor or lawyer), you can definitely manage it yourself.
