I have done everything from sheet-rock to hardwood floors to roofing and plan to fix my first properties myself with the help of my brothers until I get the ball rolling and can afford to hire contractors. 

Other than one vacation to visit my brother in Germany, I have not spent over $800 for a vacation.

She had a brother but he past away also about 8 years ago

As I mentioned my condo is 4600 sq ft, my brother in law just bought a condo in NYC for over $4500/sq ft, so a comparable condo in his building would be $20m in NYC vs $3.7M in Houston.Im not saying Houston is as good as those other places, but its still very cheap and we have plenty of non oil jobs.

I usually explain to people Charlotte in comparison is Atlanta's little brother who is in its teens years.

A little background on the situation is that 14 months ago I purchased a rental property with my father. 6 months ago I purchased another property with my father, brother In-law and I under and LLC.

Even if he is your brother, best friend, mother, parent, or worst enemy, issues arise in the future, it is not is not a matter of IF it will happen, it is WHEN it will happen.

My youngest brother is actually going to be going away to school about an hour away and thinking about living on campus.
