Together we make about 120k-ish and as were doing this, were actively paying down our credit card debt which together is about 20k at the moment, just fyi.I feel like this is a solid plan, but I'm not too big headed to admit that I don't know everything.

I am looking at some Repository list properties, due to these being on this list it is to my knowledge since they are from judicial sale they will be provided with a free and clear title.I am noticing 2 things on some PINs either the pin is for a "improvement only" (trailer, garage etc) or the name on the repo list does not match the most recent on the GIS pin.With these situations does that mean if its improvement only you would only own the trailer for example and not be able to do anything with it as the land is still theirs?

Considering that my parents and I are not Canadian citizens it adds an additional wrinkle to things as they or I are not able to claim this as the primary residence and avoid the capitol gains tax... a lot to consider and think about.

The whole project cost about $2000-$3,000.Since this project was simply replacing planter boxes and adding gravel to an already graveled area (I did change the layout)...
