Any of the big names will offer/provide training to you, I joined Coldwell Banker and still work for my broker as a dual career agent  (part-time) 12+ years later.

I offered that the agent could either represent us as a "dual agent" or that we would represent ourselves without an agent. 

@Chris Mason, You're right that standard commission around here is 5% and on down to 4% depending on the size of the deal (sometimes less if there's dual agency).

The following day I sent an hvac guy over only to discover that the system has a dual something or other and on the first one was working and it was repaired immediately.  

We were in business with countless part time, dual career, investor based agents and with some of the fees  these agents still chose us because of the education as well as the vertical and horizontal income opportunities built into the model (profit share, JV title company, JV insurance company, ability to build a team, expand the team, ability to take on leadership positions, ability to get paid to train and coach, etc.)

They've got buildings to build, and salaries to pay.If a university education is that big of a deal then home school your children and have them take dual enrolled courses as part of their home school curriculum. 

Anecdotes are not evidence, but consider giving the agent a call, see if they can do a dual agent deal  (they probably can't), then, ask him for a reference and go for there.  

They are professional grade products that were installed by our low-voltage contractor, and have given years of reliable service.

We really have no plan on how to leverage our licenses but wanted to see if anybody might have some recommendations on how a dual income family with little time to spare can make use of our licenses that are collecting dust at this point.
