@Matthew Paul, I’m not trying any “crap”, simply seeking negotiation advice in an effort to pay a fair price for a house that needs a lot of work.

Maybe no one is an idiot, maybe they are simply being responsive to incentives.

We needed to build more there but the cost to build has doubled and the return is t sufficient.

They just live T get you to apply and paper appraisals.

Worst case scenario, if that doesn't work, I can simply do fertilizer applications and landscape lighting as they don't require much labor.

It turns out that we were never going to get paid out in the first place, and eventually found out some of my properties closed, but was still never paid out for them, but most of my properties simply just ended up dropping and i was never informed of it.
