I am not the most technical person but in this day and age, not being technical is even more reason to welcome opportunities to use platforms that help develop that skill. 

Many of them might be skilled folks but they are not always the best estimator and business person. 

You should state what you want to accomplish and why, so people with those skills might take an interest.  

Not many landlords buy their rentals this way. although with all the guru training many are trying and we will see how it all works out.it takes sales skill to talk people into deeding you their home.. this is a highly charged emotional situation..

It is clear from the interview that their main skill set is raising money and they partner with other "Co-GPs" who focus on the operations. 

Ton's of people with golden shackles of sub 3% rates, epic net shortage, skilled labor shortage, on and on. 

It is my weakest skill in the research process.

A successful STR needs a good bit of cash upfront and if you’re doing a BRRRR then even more now for rehab.  100% financing everything and the rehab is not advisable unless you’re a very skilled and hands on STR investor.  

kept using people who don't do real estate to do my taxes, and also they had horrible communication skills, I don't trust people who only see u as money.

From using data to identify emerging markets to building tools that automate property analysis or management, your skills could really give you an edge.
