After many years of listening to BP/Real Estate Podcasts, reading, and building up my finances, I believe there’s no better time than now to finally jump into the real estate world.

This move is such a great example of what determination, solid planning, and truly listening to investors’ needs can achieve.

I am currently trying to learn as much as possible by reading books and listening to podcasts.

I listen to their podcast daily while driving to and from work as well.

No 8 years LOL.I already stopped listening to RIA or whatever, until they all open their sponsor track record LOLThe only advantage of having DST is really because it's just like investing to MF Class A, but the yield and cap is so volatile right now, I bet the safest DST would be the one with less than fifty percent LTV. 

@Jonathan Blanco, I'm and investor and a licensed mortgage broker so I've been on both sides of this conversation.I would look for a lender that (1) listens to you and understands your strategy and needs (hint: it's not always money), (2) has experience working with clients executing your strategy and brings more to the table than just cash - be it advice, relationships, deal-team partners, etc., (3) gives you viable options and explains the pros and cons of each option and (4) you enjoy interacting with - this should be a relationship, not a transaction.Once you find a few lenders like this (and you should have relationships with more than one), then you can start comparing rates and fees.

Very easy to get pulled into a bad property or an area you’re not comfortable with by listening to the wrong people.

I plan to be here often but have been listening to the bigger pockets podcast for the last year now, and have consistently been saving to make my first investment this year.
