And the young tuxedoed gentlemen who worked the floor carried on with their elaborate gestures and signaling, as if it was a choreographed Broadway dance routine.Only a couple dozen people remained by auction end, and only a handful of homes were actually sold.

Unfortunately, not everyone is as appreciative of gestures like this as you or I would be.  

I thought this was an incredible gesture considering the postage alone was $10.

It's a nice gesture and I agree that you want to take care of existing tenants.  

It would be a nice gesture though it can get expensive as I am guessing it would have to be the type they install at the parks, more heavy duty. 

They are such a simple gesture that shows your tenant that you care about them and your property.

These little gestures can help reduce tenant turnovers, make tenants feel like part of a community and to my surprise boost referrals from other tenants looking for a place to rent.

However, as a gesture of good faith, I paid a company to inspect and treat.

Our approach is to provide several little personal touches that have minimal cost but make our guests feel welcome instead of an “over the top” gesture.
