the Franchise Tax Board will let you defer their tax on your move out of CA. 

However, the California Franchise Tax Board is going to make life a little bit difficult on you when you do this.

I am also going to branch into everything surrounding real estate such as home cleaning, contracting and moving into franchising.

As far as KW side, it varies by franchise.

Correction: with an LLC, you'll have to maintain the LLC - more strict bookkeeping, no commingling with personal finances, file (and maybe pay) annual state franchise fee/tax, maybe maintain law office or pay for registered agent, etc.

All the hotel brands are coming to market with new franchises that have full kitchens, large rooms, pools, laundry, gym, outdoor courtyards and kitchens, are located directly in the dining, entertainment, and shopping districts and adjacant to transportation corridors and have on site staff. 

Btw,  this isn’t too different than what goes on in most franchise situations.  

This takes a LOT of time and perhaps egregious and costly errors trying to do this remotely... acquisitions, inspectors, ALL the contractors, attorneys, property managers, etc.Any other type of franchise/systematized business is going to cost you a lot more than $15k.

GHAR (Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors) Membership feeI contacted my current broker to see if I could cut out the Realtor association fee but the response I got was that if a broker is "REALTOR associated" (most franchised brokers are), then you are required to be a member of a Realtor association.  

The big franchises are less "personal" but they will have training platforms and tools designed to set you up for success.
