I just bought a duplix for 281K in pensacola 2 months ago , Is it the norm to pay around $3200 on a policy ?

Targeting single family/duplex/triplex/quadplex with 3 beds and 2 baths per unit, and $300K or less.

Markets like Cleveland, you only need about $130k for C-Grade duplexes.

Duplex is ok.  

Log beds, solid wood pieces (antique or vintage), antique persian rugs, and decorative items/art that come from the local area.Obviously if you are renting a beach condo, this method doesn't work. 

On public websites, I see some options to acquire a duplex in central Los Angeles under $550K which would require at least another $50K of work if I do not outsource most of the labor.

And you can 1031 exchange the investment side into another duplex. 

(Call them condos if you want the pride of ownership.)

Are you planning on eventually selling them as condos?

If it’s a 1910 mansion you obviously need a boatload more to pay for maintenance/repairs than a 2025 condo.
