Fort Drum was the most deployed division in the Army, so what would happen is most new Soldiers would cycle in to a brigade as they were gearing up for their next deployment to the desert.

I doubt it will be drastic but you never know, a huge cut in Soldiers will have a dramatic affect on real estate in the area just as it did when the base expanded 10 years ago.

Raising Rents on New 4 Plex in Colorado

I think we will just raise the rents to 850 as the newest tenant is already paying that and has been for a year so the others on month to month probably already expect it.Then 25 bucks next year. The fires have been crazy the last two years I am sure we will feel it in insurance soon.As for fort carson, I work there, they will lose a brigade but actually gain 1800 Soldiers NET so that will help.It is a small world.

As an Army Veteran, naturally I started there and quickly discovered some of the perks.1) Guaranteed rent through BAH - (Basic Allowance for Housing)2) Ability to hold tenants accountable for damages - I'd request information regarding their assigned unit and contact chain of command if issues arise. 90% of the time CoC were willing to get involved.3) Additionally, Soldiers have mandatory housing inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality.
