Atlas Shrugged

N/A N/A
Posted

I just read Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged. What does everyone think
of it?

I like alot of ideas she had about socialism and capitalism. But I also thought like any idealogy she went off the deep end in some places. Still there was some great writing and ideas presented. I like the idea that government should be smaller but at the same time I think that some social programs benefit America as a whole.

One thing I've been thinking about alot lately is that there has been alot of
murmurings in Washington about a National Health Care plan. But assuming that it goes thru should we trust the government to tell us where to go for treatment?
