It is difficult to give up STR money for long term and long termed renters might get on your nerves if the walls are thin or they like to BBQ often with pot or beer. 

Also if you throw in a BBQ, make sure the last tenant didn't use all the propane!

Some of the things we put out were local soaps, bbq seasoning (Omaha steaks), and local candy.

I have seen cars turned into BBQ grills, tables turned into desks, all kinds of things turned into light stands, and so forth.Just because a word or phrase is used for multiple things doesn't mean they are related in the sense that we are criminals because we take an old tire and turn it into a coffee table vs someone who breaks into the DMV and creates fake IDs. 

But I go overboard and put in kegorators, horseshoe pits, fire rings, grills, Rokus on an HDTV, etc.

I was thinking of doing half and using the other money for a gazebo/ with grill and dog park.
