Most people have a bad taste about Detroit because investing in it will tell you how savvy of an investor you are and when people find that out that they are not as sharp as an investor as they thought they were so they say it's Detroit's fault but numbers are numbers (meaning do your investment math and research).

@Tom Ott so a sharp agent ( like my Wife) when she opens escrow. she always requests Legible copies of CCRS and HOA,s she reads them then gets with her buyers and goes over them as well.now granted a lot of CCRS from the turn of the century have no effect of law since there was clauses that precluded certain people form owning. and or certain farm animals which now zoning has taken care off.But again this is just so basic and I see it totally glossed over or when I request it they say why title fine.. ya right.
