another thing you should look at is the relaibility of all thos e blue collar jobs that pay the rent. is the big employer about to move labor off shore or go robotic??

And many of these firms are hiring talent of all ages, but in the area of robotics, sciences and other technology fields, a lot of young urban professionals are coming from CMU and need places to live close to these businesses.

They see our city as the next great start-up hub, especially with regard to advanced robotics, thanks in huge part to Carnegie Mellon University.
