Fellow Alaskans, I am buying a fourplex and am on the fence between using it as an Air-BNB type rental, or a month to month rental to businesses or std long term rental.

If you're gonna rip out the oil, replace it with natural gas forced air(good) or ductless heat pump systems if the home is a candidate for that(much better.)

I have an A/C unit in a quad that will blow cold air for about an hour and then overheat.

The one downside is airing those issues on that forum leaves us all privy to the culprits also seeing whatever is posted.

With the number of complaints popping up on BP, ripoff report, ect, I think the trick of airing your grievances online to spur Morris into action has lost its novelty, which means you need to find new and inventive way to get Clayton and Natilie's attention. 

If Mayor Walsh thinks that Air B&B is responsible for rising rent prices in Boston, he needs to think again.My bet is that the regulation will pass.
